Privacy policy
Discretion is part of what we do. This page explains what data this website collects, and why.
Last updated: 28 October 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by The Safe Haven Group, part of The Element Investments network ([legal entity name, registered address and Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number]). For any privacy question, email info@thesafehavengroup.com.
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, optional phone number, the profile and interests you select, your message and, only if you choose to attach them, your Resilience Check results.
- Server logs: our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels on this website.
The Resilience Check
Your answers are processed entirely in your own browser. They are stored in your browser's local storage, so you can see your results again later, and they are not sent to us. They only reach us if you click "Discuss my results" and then submit the contact form. You can delete them at any time by retaking the check or clearing your browser's site data.
Cookies
When you submit the contact form, a single functional session cookie is set to prevent repeated submissions. It is deleted when you close your browser. We use no other cookies.
Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure, based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any follow-up, and for no longer than [24 months] after our last contact, unless you become a client and a longer period is required by law.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. It is processed by our hosting and email provider (Hostinger) on our behalf. We only share it with specialists in our network with your explicit permission, for example when you ask us to involve a partner in your project.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, withdraw your consent, or object to how we use it. Email us at info@thesafehavengroup.com. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the supervisory authority in your own country.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
